A Poem by Denny E. Marshall

Herd

Not easy to lay still
In a big lonely world
Like butterflies above water
Find place hard to land
Wings turn like birds
Lost on long migration
Mountains magically appear
Block warm wind currents
Transform into clouds
Drifts never touch down
