A Poem by Valentina Cano



Peace
It all comes down to choosing.
Choosing to swim through my thoughts,
wet silk around my ankles dragging me down,
or to sink.
Breathe out worthless air
and drown in the calmest of waters.



Valentina Cano is a student of classical singing who spends whatever free time either writing or reading.
