A Poem by Agholor Leonard Obiaderi

Exercise belief
100m tracks pools.
Breast tape hope
tears chlorine-stew pool.
Jump, throw gods
give wind,
speed to the height of
feat. Artemis’s arrow
Apollo shoots
drugs bitterness
scowls in pain at
finishing line.
Gold shines the verge
of vindication
ripple a flight
into the clouds.
